On a trip to visit my brother and sister-in-law in Traverse City I went quilt shopping with my sister-in-law.  I fell in love with a selection of fabrics in peach and mint green and brought them back to my home in Arizona. I tend to use my favorite colors a lot and these new ones took me out of my comfort zone and challenged my creativity. I added some other fabrics whenever I saw one that complimented my growing collection. I ultimately ended up with enough fabrics in peach, mint green and jade to make 3 quilts that I call the Traverse Trilogy.
