Sometimes the most unusual textile and a sewing challenge come together to create a unique and creative new product. My local quilt shop handed me a piece of purple vinyl mesh that resembles a screen and asked me to do something with it. My imagination station kicked into a high gear and I designed a collection of brightly colored one-of-a-kind original design mixed-media tote bags. Each tote bag is a unique combination of mesh, appliqué, quilting and brightly colored fabric. The collection is limited so make sure one of these totes becomes yours before they sell out.
