Back on Track

I have fallen off the band wagon in the last couple of months and have given very little attention to writing blogs. In the beginning my fingers could not keep up with the ideas running through my head. But I must admit that lately my head and thoughts have been elsewhere. Please don’t ask where because I cannot give an honest answer.
The summer months here in Arizona were brutal this past summer. We had day after day of 106-110 degrees and no rain. Makes it pretty hard to concentrate on anything except the miserable heat. And to top things off I caught COVID on a return trip from seeing my brother.
Now I know you are asking: “Did you wear a mask on the plane”? The answer is: “yes I wore a mask but 175 other people on the plane did not.” And there were 7 people crammed into a shuttle returning from the airport. I was the only one wearing a mask. So, I caught the miserable virus and was home for 2 weeks recuperating. NO FUN!!! I was tired beyond belief, could not smell, could not taste anything, and felt like I had concrete in my sinuses. Writing a blog was the last thing I wanted to do. So, I didn’t write, just sulked, and slept.
But here I am again and will try faithfully to continue filling your heads with my thoughts. I am back in the saddle again.
